Maths not Squiggles offers a safe, friendly environment which focuses on the individual needs of your child. It provides and supports a structured curriculum set out by the Board of Studies that is challenging, stimulating and educationally sound. |
Why Tuition? |
The education of your child is one of the most important aspects of their life - all parents want the best possible result for their children. And one of the most important subjects in today’s syllabus is still Mathematics. Each year, your child learns a new part of mathematics which to a large extent is dependent on what they learnt the previous month or the previous year. If, for some reason, your child misses a topic or does not understand the full extent of its meaning, they will find it quite difficult to continue and/or complete the course. |
Why Maths not Squiggles? |
Maths not Squiggles offers both One-to-One tuition as well as Group Work to help your child in all areas of mathematics. Some students work well in groups where they learn from one another with guided assistance from a tutor. Others cannot focus in groups and need that personalised attention which we also provide. Maths not Squiggles provides structured lessons with homework set at the end of each lesson. Only once your child has a full understanding of the topic will we continue onto the next part of the course. Our lessons are not mass produced. In other words, the way we teach one child will not be the same for the next. It’s all individually tailored. The end result however is the same – the very best Mathematics education for your child! |
